AML Increases Workforce Capacity Through Focus Training Program

ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) keeps making great progress in empowering its employees through focused training programs meant to improve leadership, safety, and operational efficiency. The company recently graduated 55 employees in Buchanan who successfully concluded the 3D Shopfloor Enhancement and 4D Shopfloor Management Programs.

Those graduated, were selected from AML’s Rail, Port, and Mines divisions, and have been given real-world leadership skills that will encourage responsibility, reliability, and excellent work performance. The program is a component of the company’s larger plan to develop a culture of safety and collaboration throughout its operations while bolstering frontline leadership.

Following upon this growth, AML disclosed that 66 more employees from Yekepa will earn their certificates this week after finishing the same training, increasing the program’s influence across the country.

Making remarks at the event, Conor O’Brien stressed that effective shopfloor leadership is essential to operational success and encouraged participants to use their newly learned knowledge to demonstrate tangible gains in workplace safety, collaboration, and efficiency.

Following a successful pilot phase, the accomplishment reflects ArcelorMittal Liberia’s ongoing dedication to promoting talent, increasing staff capability, and strengthening leadership across the board.
