Monrovia, Liberia – Today, the Ministry of Education and UNICEF signed the 2026–2030 Work Plan, formalizing a new era of their collaboration. Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, the Minister of Education, and Andrew Andy Brooks, the UNICEF Country Representative, signed the agreement at the Ministry of Education.
The Work Plan lays forth a common framework for cooperation over the following five years with the goal of enhancing learning outcomes for every child and reinforcing the educational system.
In order to guarantee that the interventions are both successful and long-lasting, the Work Plan also places a strong emphasis on capacity building, data utilization, and coordinated implementation. The collaboration will foster safe and inclusive school settings, enhance teaching and learning, and increase access to high-quality education.
This partnership will support ongoing national initiatives, such as teacher development, foundational learning changes, and better service delivery throughout the educational system, between 2026 and 2030.
This agreement demonstrates a persistent dedication to guaranteeing that every child in Liberia has access to high-quality education and the chance to grow and learn.
